I told myself that I would not do this. Maybe just this once if I keep it brief. Packed lunches on display! Here they are! Take a quick look, I promise not to make a habit of it. Appetising though right? -Polly
Did you see last months issue of "Mothering"? They had an article on the Japanese art of bento boxes. It was amazing! My kids loved it, athough they made me feel better by saying "Mommy, it doesn't matter how they look... Its how they taste". Thanks, guys!
Hello. Welcome to my studio blog. I am an artist, a Mom and wife. I also consider myself a career artist though I work at other things most days. I studied textile design at the Rhode Island School of Design. After graduating, I began weaving fine scarves. Next I added a husband, some great kids, and a few too many animals to the mix. Now I try to balance artwork, job-work, family life, and some athletic aspirations. This blog is my own record of studio projects in progress, and some of the diversions that slow me down.
